From the beginning Talk to Me forgoes any level of ambiguity or suggested unreliable narration, instead delivering us the 12-in-a-dozen experience of a messy supernatural lore-based horror flick with cheap jump scares and the most ridiculous portrayal of Gen Z in a film I've seem this year. In my opinion comes no where close to other A24 horror successes such as Hereditary or vvitch.
