Ambitious in its bleak, oppressive portrayal of decisions gone wrong and a group of tortured souls in way over their head as the whole world around them keeps falling apart. Unfortunately, there is little time to explore the impact of a dramatic event midway through (e.g., tell us something about how these individuals deal with shock and grief) as it is followed up by more, almost farcical moments that left us wondering if the entire point of the film wasn't just "life sucks and then you die"
