While at times successful in its morbid humor, Kinds of Kindness, a triptych of dreamlike fables exploring toxic power dynamics, belonging, and abuse, is not an easy watch; I am just really not a fan of Yorgos Lanthimos, and unfortunately, after Poor Things, his newest film again illustrates a penchant for unnecessary misogynistic tropes.
